'Stuck in Traffic' is an event curated by Professor Roberto Lopardo, Chair of the Visual Communications Department at AUD with nine of his graduating students from the Senior Project Class. It will be held at the Jam Jar Art Gallery, Al Quoz (Dubai) on the 26th of June 2007 and will continue through the 2nd of July 2007.
“The exhibition “Stuck in Traffic” represents the thoughts and feelings of nine young and highly dynamic students who find themselves embedded in a society that exceedingly rewards individuals who embody acclimatization skills over the more implicit qualities associated with principle. The show’s conceptual content revolves around the newfound pressures existing in a multicultural and multinational environment while still attempting to remain true to the core of the traditions that makes an individual unique and whole.” –Prof. Roberto Lopardo
