2009 April 30 - May 16, Gallery "Arka" Vilnius, Lithuania330 artists from 56 different countries sent their books for the 5th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2009. The jury selected 131 artists for the exhibition. The theme of the 5th International Artist’s Book Triennial was Text.
The 5th Triennial displayed artist’s books from all over the world: paper books, books printed by classic graphic techniques – wood engraving, silk-screen printing or lithography; books printed by mixed techniques combining digital printing with drawing, collage and object; concept and “handmade” embroidered books; book – object; etc.
A full color catalogue printed on a limited edition of 500 copies is available at 25 euro per copy on request.
